Senior Designer Toolmaking 100% (m/f/d)

What is my role?

You independently design complex injection moulds and construct them at the highest level

• You take on the technical project management from the initial idea to series release

• You create and check demanding technical specifications, drawings and documentation

• You lead and coordinate external tool suppliers with your expertise

• You advise sales as an expert with clever tool-specific solutions and well-founded calculations

• You are the central contact person for customers and internal teams on complex issues

• You contribute your many years of experience and support less experienced colleagues

What do I need to be successful?

• Completed basic mechanical training with further education HF/FH in mechanical engineering or plastics technology

• Many years of solid professional experience (at least 5-7 years) in the design of injection moulds or in toolmaking

• Proven expertise in handling CAD systems (e.g. SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor)

• In-depth knowledge of materials science and plastics processing

• Strong communication skills in German (English skills are a plus)

• Structured, reliable and solution-oriented working style with a high degree of personal responsibility

• Experience in project management and dealing with demanding customer requirements

• Desire to contribute your experience and further develop the team
