As a Tax Regulations Specialist, you work in the Tax Compliance & Reporting department, which ensures compliance with regulatory requirements in the areas of AIA, CARF, FATCA, QI, and other tax law topics. The department supports the sales units with operational questions in the area of Tax Compliance, ensures the control framework, and develops regulatory solutions of the future together with implementation projects. The department is also responsible for the professional AIA, CARF, FATCA, and QI regulations and ensures that these are always up to date and adapted to the circumstances.
In your role, you work closely with your colleagues in Legal & Compliance, business engineers, IT specialists, and product management, and you understand how to reconcile the different perspectives in coordination with the team members from the department.
Your Tasks
- Handles sales inquiries in the area of tax due diligence, especially related to AIA, CARF, FATCA, and QI
- Supports the annual execution of reporting obligations under AIA, CARF, FATCA, and QI
- Participates in various internal and external working groups related to double taxation agreements, withholding taxes, and OECD regulations
- Organizes and supports the execution of internal training sessions
- Contributes to the operation and further development of the internal control system in the area of taxes
- Supports business engineers from a professional perspective in the further development of tax-relevant IT applications, e.g., creating specifications, conducting and documenting software tests, and fixing errors
- Prepares internal reports and monitoring and processes data for the sales department
Your Profile
- Completed legal or economic studies (FH, HF) or a federal professional certificate (e.g., fiduciary)
- At least 3 years of professional experience in the area of tax due diligence and reporting obligations, taxes, fiduciary, or compliance
- Knowledge of Swiss taxes and international tax regulations
- Confident German and good English skills
