For our important client in the Locarno area, we are immediately looking for a Metal Construction Technician (M/F/D).

Metal Construction Technician (M/F/D)

Job Description

• Carry out surveys and take measurements at construction sites and clients
• Verify the conformity of existing works with respect to project drawings
• Draw up technical sketches and report measurements for production
• Collaborate with the technical office in defining construction solutions
• Interface with site managers, designers, project management and clients
• Provide technical support to assembly teams during installation phases
• Conduct inspections for technical checks and progress status of orders

Requirements

• Federal Certificate of Competence as Metal Constructor or equivalent technical training
• Experience gained in the metal construction sector, preferably in the field of windows, façades or metal carpentry
• Excellent ability to read technical drawings
• Experience in carrying out dimensional surveys on site
• Good IT skills and familiarity with CAD software (AutoCAD is a plus)
• Precision, autonomy and excellent organisational skills
• Aptitude for interpersonal relationships and ability to interface with clients and professionals
• Category B driving licence, car owner
