The Kantonsschule Limmattal in Urdorf is a secondary school in the Knonauer Amt / Limmattal region. It includes a long and short gymnasium with all Matura profiles and a bilingual Matura course in German / English. The school has 140 teachers, about 40 staff in administration and operations, and around 900 students; in the coming years, an expansion to about 1,100 students is planned.
Starting from the spring semester 2027, a position as Vice Principal (full-time) is to be newly filled at the Kantonsschule Limmattal.
Tasks
As Vice Principal, you are a member of the school management and take on responsible planning, organizational, and leadership tasks. As a department head, you are responsible for leading various departments and bear both pedagogical and personnel responsibility. You look forward to the challenge of independently shaping the further development of the Kantonsschule Limmattal in a dynamic environment and significantly contributing to a good school climate in dealing with young people, teachers, employees, and school authorities.
Profile
We are looking for applicants with a completed university degree (Licentiate / Master), a teaching diploma for Matura schools or an equivalent qualification, as well as teaching experience at the gymnasium level. As Vice Principal, you will teach ten lessons per week. You enjoy tackling small and large challenges in a broad field of activity and possess high resilience as well as flexibility in thinking and acting.
