About the job
Your new role
As a social advisor, you counsel and support people who are in social and material distress. You ensure their livelihood. Due to their life circumstances, resources, or health condition, these people have limited access to social and working life. It is your task to initiate, maintain, or promote their personal and economic independence with the aim of social and professional integration. In doing so, you work closely with other agencies and independently handle the associated extensive administrative work.

This position is for you if
- you have completed training at a university of applied sciences for social work and preferably already have professional experience.
- you enjoy advising and supporting people affected by poverty of various ages, origins, and life situations.
- you are resilient and decisive and bring a positive attitude.
- you already have expertise in social welfare legislation, social insurance, and possibly migration, or you are interested and curious to acquire this knowledge.
- you have good organisational and administrative skills, a confident manner of expression, and good IT knowledge.
- you move reflectively and professionally in the tension field of legal frameworks, society, and social work.
- we gain an engaged, versatile, and eager-to-learn personality with you who wants to contribute actively.
