About the job
What is my role?
Carrying out repairs and preventive maintenance on production equipment, machines and building services systems to ensure smooth operational processes
Troubleshooting and fault rectification on electrical systems, controls and drive systems with the aim of minimising downtime
Performing regular maintenance work and inspections according to maintenance schedules and legal requirements
Active assistance with conversions and new constructions as well as the installation of new systems within the various departments
Ensuring operational safety by testing and inspecting electrical installations according to NIV and other relevant standards
Systematic recording and documentation of all maintenance, repairs and faults in the SAP maintenance programme for complete traceability
Support in planning and implementing projects in the electrotechnical area
Independent procurement of materials, spare parts and operating resources within the specified guidelines and budgets
Collaboration with external service providers and suppliers for major maintenance measures
Participation in on-call duty to ensure technical availability outside regular working hours
Contribution to the continuous improvement of processes and systems to increase efficiency and safety
What do I need to be successful?
A completed EFZ apprenticeship as an electrician, assembly electrician, automation technician or a comparable qualification. For foreign qualifications, recognition of equivalence by the ESTI is required.
Practical experience in control technology and/or operational maintenance, alternatively the motivation to familiarise yourself with these specialist areas.
Flexibility for on-call duties as well as willingness to work two Saturdays per month.
Willingness to work within a time window from 5:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Very good German language skills in spoken and written form for daily communication.
Confident handling of IT applications, especially MS Office.
Ideally, you have basic knowledge of Siemens Step 7.
You are characterised by an independent, resilient and reliable working style.
You work cleanly, structured and precisely.
