Tasks/Responsibilities
What awaits you:
- Collaboration in the team, especially with the management of the rolling mill as well as the specialist organizations of Stahl Gerlafingen AG with potential expansion to the Beltrame Group
- Optimization and development of process flows and procedures in and with production
- Preparation of decision-making bases including business cases for projects to improve profitability and processes
- Responsible conception and independent implementation of improvement projects for the wire and bar rolling mill with support from the working group.
- Maintenance and further development of the continuous improvement process (CIP), e.g. initiating replacement and new procurement projects as well as developing concepts
Skills
What you bring:
- Technical degree in mechanical/plant engineering or process/forming technology
- Knowledge in forming is an advantage
- Ability to read and create technical drawings
- Solid experience in project management including method training (OpEx, TQM, SixSigma)
- Experience in personnel management
- Several years of experience in an industrial environment
- Business management knowledge
- Winning and team-oriented personality with high resilience
- Very good IT user skills (CAD, Office, SAP)
- Good English skills, Italian is an advantage
