About the job
Do you want to plan, further develop and accompany protection systems for demanding power grids until commissioning? In this role, you combine sound expertise with responsibility in diverse projects around extra-high, high and medium voltage networks.
Your tasks
- You design the network protection for extra-high, high and medium voltage networks taking into account relevant laws, standards and technical specifications
- For our projects, you create overarching as well as project-specific protection concepts, specifications and requirement documents
- You carry out short-circuit and load flow calculations, determine the setting values for protection systems and create the device configurations
- You lead renewal projects in the protection area and are responsible for planning, interface clarification, hardware and software engineering of protection and control
- Factory acceptance tests, functional tests and professional support of protection commissioning are also part of your responsibilities
- As an expert with broad, sound knowledge, you analyse and document network events, advise customers and support the acquisition of new orders
Your profile
- You have a completed degree (FH/ETH) in electrical/automation engineering
- Knowledge of high voltage systems and experience with digital protection and control technology systems
- You handle complex technical issues independently, in a structured and solution-oriented manner, while keeping quality and economic goals in view
- In exchange with internal and external contacts, you explain technical contexts clearly and align solutions with customer needs
- As a communicative personality, you speak fluent German and are not afraid to converse in French
