Erlenhof | SIBU-SRIHV is part of Erlenhof | Foundation. With the specialist areas of counseling, training, and integration, the Swiss specialist center for visually impaired people in the professional environment (SIBU) offers a unique and comprehensive range of services for people with visual impairments in the professional context. Affected individuals, IV offices, and employers are advised, accompanied, and supported in the process of professional integration. Our goal is to enable people with visual impairments to live as self-determined a life as possible both professionally and privately. Our clients are the cantonal IV offices.
To complement our team in the counseling department, we are looking for a
Career Coach 80% (m/f/d)
Your area of responsibility:- As a career coach, you are responsible for coordinating and designing our inpatient professional measures; according to the specifications, goals, and needs of our clients and the commissioning IV office.
- You accompany people with visual impairments in a resource-oriented manner in the process of professional (re)orientation and reintegration, developing preparatory steps towards professional integration with them and the responsible IV offices.
- You maintain and coordinate contact with the people in the support system of the clients both internally and externally.
- You are responsible for keeping all necessary documentation during the professional measure.
- With appropriate experience, conducting visually impaired technical assessments (short clarifications and reporting to the IV offices) will become part of your role at a later stage.
- Ideally, you have a degree in social work HF/FH, an equivalent qualification in coaching, career or vocational counseling, and bring relevant professional and life experience.
- You are used to working independently and well-organized. Reporting as well as conducting conversations and meetings are essential parts of your daily work in which you feel confident.
- You maintain clear and respectful communication in contact with external offices as well as with the interdisciplinary team of the company.
- You are characterized as an independent, open, and committed personality and are ready to support our clients resource-oriented in their individual issues.
- You have a value-based, resource- and solution-oriented attitude.
