The St.Gallen Investigation Office, located at St.Gallen main train station, is responsible for criminal proceedings in the area of the city of St.Gallen up to St.Gallen-Altenrhein airport (judicial districts of St.Gallen and Rorschach). The team consists of 18 public prosecutors, 11 caseworkers with prosecutorial powers, 8 procedural assistants, and 5 people in training or internship.
