ICT Supporter & Practical Trainer (IT Service) 100%The Technical Vocational School Zurich TBZ is a competence center for basic and continuing education in the fields of automotive technology, information technology, electrical/electronics, event technology, and optometry. Over 3600 learners are taught by around 200 teachers. To strengthen our IT service, we are looking for a committed personality as ICT Supporter / Practical Trainer (100%) starting June 2026 or by arrangement.
Your tasks
- Advising and supporting users in 1st and 2nd level support
- Analyzing and processing malfunctions and error messages
- Installation, maintenance, and support of the deployed hardware, software, and IT application systems (media technology, PCs, notebooks, M365 apps, printers, etc.)
- Procuring hardware, software, and consumables
- Creating documentation, instructions, and training materials
- Conducting user training sessions
- Participating in IT projects
- Practical Trainer: Responsibility for the training and supervision of apprentices and interns
What we expect from you
- You have completed training as an IT system technician / IT supporter / computer scientist EFZ or an equivalent IT qualification
- You can demonstrate several years of experience in 1st and 2nd level support
- You have good knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Windows & M365 apps)
- You are a service-oriented and communicative personality and have good German language skills, both spoken and written
- You enjoy and are interested in new developments and technologies and are willing to continuously further your education
- Experience in training and supervising apprentices (ICT specialist EFZ)
- Completed training as a vocational trainer is an advantage
