Radiation Oncology Technician

Reference: CLS/RH/2025.697 / Contract type: Permanent contract at 100% / Hours: Monday to Friday with two shifts: 7:15 AM - 4:15 PM / 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM / Start date: as soon as we find the right person / Location: in the heart of Lausanne (M2 stop "Riponne" or Bus 2, 3 or 21 stop "Beaulieu-Jomini")

As part of our development and increased activity, we are looking for a radiation oncology technician to strengthen our team and ensure optimal patient care.
What will you be expected to do?
Every day, you will apply your technical and interpersonal skills to provide humane and safe care.
- Personalized support: welcome and inform patients and their relatives, guiding them with empathy throughout their treatment.
- Precision serving therapeutic effectiveness: install and position patients considering their comfort, physical and psychological state.
- Advanced technical expertise: perform radiotherapy sessions in compliance with medical protocols, ensuring safety, radiation protection, and quality of care at all times, either independently or in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
- Mastery of state-of-the-art equipment: optimally use the department's devices and ensure the quality of imaging expected by radiation oncologists.
- Active contribution to treatment planning: implement necessary immobilization devices and rigorously apply planned dosimetry, while adapting protocols according to medical orders.
- Continuous vigilance: relay medical instructions, especially for patients requiring special monitoring during or after sessions.
- Involvement in the department's life: participate in organizing department activities and contribute to integrating new colleagues and students in training.
