Automation/Electrical Engineer 80-100% (m/f/d)
Tasks
- Optimization with system: You carry out targeted process optimizations in the control system (ABB 800xA and Siemens PCS7) and further develop existing automation solutions. You take over troubleshooting as well as the analysis and elimination of error causes to continuously improve plant availability. Your technical know-how and systematic approach contribute significantly to increasing the efficiency and operational safety of our plants.
- Project management in process automation: You take responsibility for technical projects in the field of process automation and plant optimization – from planning to successful implementation. You independently and purposefully manage all project phases, coordinate internal and external stakeholders, and ensure efficient collaboration. You always keep quality, deadlines, and costs in view.
- Shaping the future: You evaluate and implement innovative technical solutions with the goal of continuously keeping our production plants up to date with the latest technology. You contribute ideas for expansions and implement measures to increase plant safety in the field of paper production.
Profile
- Education & expertise: You have completed training in electrical engineering/automation/MSR as well as further education at the HF or FH level – ideally as an automation specialist, technician, or system/electrical technician. You bring knowledge in automation/process control technology (e.g., Step7, TIA, WinCC, ABB 800xA, Siemens PCS7), knowledge in drive technology as well as in measurement and control technology, and experience with process plants is a great advantage.
- IT competence & digital affinity: You are confident in digital environments and have good IT skills – ideally also in areas such as networks, interfaces, or data communication (OPC).
- Personality & working style: You take responsibility, make well-founded decisions, and convince with a structured, solution-oriented, and independent working style. Your communication skills help you to clearly convey complex matters and manage projects securely.
- Language skills: You have very good German skills in spoken and written form; English skills are an advantage.
