Senior Compliance Officer 100% Focus on Internal Controls and Reporting

Hypothekarbank Lenzburg AG is a leading innovative bank in the canton of Aargau. In addition to traditional customer care, we are consistently expanding digital sales channels. 

The Compliance department is part of the Legal, Regulatory & Compliance division. 

To strengthen the department primarily in the areas of internal controls, reporting and other compliance tasks such as sanctions topics, we are looking for a Senior Compliance Officer to start immediately or by arrangement.

• Monitoring of legal and regulatory developments
• Implementation and supervision of regulatory requirements within the bank
• Review, organisation and execution of internal bank compliance controls (ICS) in the areas of AML, VSB, FIDLEG, market conduct, contract law, data protection law together with the team
• Participation in the preparation of compliance reporting (quarterly reporting, annual reporting, ad hoc reporting)
• Handling of questionnaires such as FCCQ 
• Handling of further compliance tasks such as sanctions topics
• Training and providing information to employees on compliance topics

What you bring

• Completed university or university of applied sciences degree (Bachelor or Master in Law, Business Law, Economics) or comparable higher professional education
• At least three years of solid professional experience in a comparable compliance position, preferably in the area of ICS and reporting
• Very good knowledge of the relevant legal frameworks such as AML, VSB, FIDLEG, market conduct
• Precise working method, initiative, commitment and sense of responsibility
• Very good editorial skills
• Very good German skills in spoken and written form (at least C2), good English skills and additional language skills are a plus
