Polymechanic – CNC Manufacturing with CNC Turning Skills
Tasks
- Independently programme and set up CNC lathes, especially models such as Star SV32/SR38, Goodway SW32, Hanwha XD16II and Nakamura Tome WY150
- Monitor production processes and ensure that manufacturing processes run smoothly
- Conduct quality checks of the manufactured workpieces independently, including first-piece inspection according to the four-eyes principle
- Properly set up and operate post-processing machines
- Perform regular maintenance work on machines to ensure operation
Requirements
- Sound knowledge in programming and setting up CNC lathes of various makes
- Experience in carrying out quality inspections according to the four-eyes principle
- Responsibility in material procurement for efficient manufacturing processes
- Competence in analysing and continuously optimising production processes
- Willingness to assist in the training of apprentices and in production planning
