Head of Paper Processing (m/f/d) – 100%

Tasks

• Leadership: Leading and further developing six directly reporting managers as well as around 30 employees. Promoting a performance-oriented, appreciative leadership culture in which personal responsibility, collaboration, and continuous development are lived.
• Production: Overall responsibility for the paper processing area with three production plants – including a state-of-the-art new plant – as well as leading a production area in a 3-shift operation. Ensuring a safe, economical, and smooth production operation.
• Optimisation: Analysing relevant key figures, identifying improvement potentials, and continuously developing processes, workflows, and standards with a focus on efficiency, quality, and productivity.
• Quality & Safety: Ensuring compliance with and continuous development of quality, safety, and environmental standards as well as promoting a sustainable safety culture.
• Collaboration: Close cross-departmental cooperation with planning, maintenance, quality, logistics, and production to ensure efficient and smooth processes.
• Leadership team: Active participation as a member of the leadership team in the strategic and operational development of the site as well as shaping the future of Cartaseta AG.

Profile

• Education: Completed technical basic training as well as further training at HF, FH level or a comparable qualification in production, process engineering, mechanical engineering, business administration, or a related field.
• Leadership experience: Several years of experience in a comparable leadership role within an industrial production company as well as enjoyment in promoting and developing employees.
• Production: Experience in the paper industry or a comparable processing industry as well as a good understanding of production processes, lean management, and continuous improvement processes.
• Personality: Entrepreneurial thinking, high personal responsibility as well as a structured, solution-oriented, and pragmatic working style. Decisiveness and assertiveness combined with an appreciative leadership attitude.
• Communication: Strong social skills as well as the ability to connect different stakeholders and successfully accompany changes.
• Language: Very good German skills in spoken and written form as well as good English skills are an advantage.
