To strengthen our team, we are immediately looking for a person as Plastics Specialist (or equivalent)
Your Responsibilities
Development, optimization, and implementation of plastic solutions in demanding industrial projects
Selection of suitable plastics and material combinations for specific applications
Development of components considering manufacturing processes such as injection molding, extrusion, or thermoforming
Conducting feasibility analyses, FEM simulations, and lifetime estimations
Collaboration with internal development teams and external partners (e.g., toolmakers, producers)
Support in industrialization and series transfer
Technical consulting for our customers in Switzerland
Your Qualifications
Completed studies in plastics engineering, materials science, mechanical engineering, or comparable education
Several years of professional experience in the development and processing of plastics
Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
Knowledge in CAD (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor, Creo) and simulation tools is an advantage
Experience with international industrial projects is an advantage
Very good German skills, English is an advantage
