About the job
What you will do here
- Advance the research communication of BFH-HAFL and tell exciting stories about projects, services, and events
- Write, edit, and proofread contributions for internal and external communication channels (magazine, web, social media, intranet)
- Plan and coordinate content and production of the focusHAFL magazine
- Communicatively support HAFL events such as graduation ceremonies or the Swiss Agricultural Policy Forum
- Manage topics and channels in the newsroom and keep an overview
- Advise internal departments and assist with communication projects as well as printed materials (e.g., flyers)
- Collaborate in internal HAFL teams as well as in BFH-wide topic and working groups
What you ideally bring with you
- University degree in communication, media studies, journalism, or related fields
- Several years of experience in corporate communications, media, or PR – preferably with a connection to research
- A strong editorial voice, confident German language skills, and good French and English skills
- Confidence in handling digital channels and tools (Microsoft 365, MS Teams, SharePoint, etc.) as well as agile working methods and AI-supported applications
- Well-structured working style and a service-oriented personality who keeps an overview and enjoys working in a lively team
- Last but not least: enthusiasm for topics related to sustainability, agriculture, forestry, and food
