ZHdK, with around 2100 bachelor and master students, is one of the largest and most diverse art universities in Europe. The study and research areas include Art Education, Design, Film, Fine Arts, Music, Dance, Theatre, and Transdisciplinarity. Located in the heart of Zurich, ZHdK is a dynamic place where passionate people from over 75 countries work, study, teach, research, and continue their education. The university also includes numerous exhibition and performance venues where students' project works are publicly presented.
The Media and Information Center MIZ combines the library and archives of ZHdK. It supports the university with various services and scientific information. The ZHdK archive preserves and conveys the history of the university and its predecessor institutions. It acts as an intermediate archive for administrative or business records and as a final archive for documents from teaching and research as well as the scientific and artistic works created there.
We are looking for an Archive Staff member for the ZHdK archive to start immediately or by arrangement.

Your Profile
We are looking for a person interested in art and culture with basic training as an Information and Documentation Specialist EFZ or comparable knowledge. The position is suitable as a career entry after apprenticeship or as a re-entry or lateral entry into the I+D area. Some professional experience in archives or libraries is required.
You bring basic knowledge in handling archive-specific database systems or media databases or are motivated to acquire these skills. Very good German and good English skills are required. You work in a structured, careful, and precise manner, are customer-oriented, and appreciate working in an open and supportive team environment.
