About the job
The opportunity
You join a supportive team in our Service unit in Zürich‑Oerlikon. You learn how GIS projects are planned and executed with high professionalism. You gain insights into installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities in real projects. You will work closely with experienced installation project managers, act as a supporting point of contact for customers, assist in coordinating field staff, and help ensure compliance with relevant safety and quality standards. You strengthen your technical understanding and develop strong organizational skills. You grow in a global environment that values curiosity and hands‑on learning. How you’ll make an impact

Support the organization of on‑site installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities

Assist in planning, preparing, and coordinating work assignments for technical projects

Serve as a contact point for internal teams and external partners

Support communication with customers, suppliers, and service teams across all project stages

Assist with scheduling, material preparation, and monitoring project progress and costs

Contribute to safety and quality standards by supporting related procedures and regulations

Support risk assessment activities, including processing deviation reports and documenting corrective actions

Maintain technical documentation, including the creation and archiving of project records, with occasional site visits
Your background
-
Ongoing or completed Bachelor studies (HF/FH) in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, business engineering, or project management related fields; or technical apprenticeship (e.g., Electronics Technician EFZ, Polymechanic EFZ, Mechatronics Engineer EFZ)

Good written and spoken German and English

Confident communication across diverse cultures and stakeholders, especially when working with different cultures

Excellent teamwork and organizational abilities

Solid experience with MS Office and digital tools

High motivation to learn and support complex project environments
