Shape demanding Data & AI projects in Switzerland

As a Data & AI Project Manager, you take responsibility for demanding customer projects in the data, analytics, and AI environment. You manage projects in a structured way from planning to successful implementation and act as the central interface between customers, specialist departments, technical teams, and management stakeholders.

You combine solid project management experience with a good understanding of modern data & AI solutions. You can explain complex technical topics clearly, guide customers confidently through decision-making processes, and coordinate interdisciplinary teams effectively.

Your role

• Leading data & AI projects for Swiss customers from various industries
• Responsibility for scope, scheduling, budget, resources, risks, quality, and delivery governance
• Leading and coordinating interdisciplinary teams from data engineering, data architecture as well as CRM and application development
• Planning and moderating customer workshops, steering committees, status meetings, and management presentations
• Translating complex technical concepts into understandable business language
• Active stakeholder management at specialist, IT, and C-level
• Supporting pre-sales activities, offers, effort estimations, customer presentations, and advisory discussions
• Identifying and developing cross-selling potentials with existing customers

• Depending on project needs, taking on additional tasks as business analyst, product owner, advisory consultant, or delivery lead

Your profile

• Several years of project management experience in data, analytics, AI, or cloud environments as well as in leading projects with Swiss customers
• Experience with classical, agile, and hybrid project management approaches as well as with time-and-material and fixed-price projects
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, business informatics, data & AI, or a comparable field
• Very good German and English skills, ideally also Swiss German
• Solid understanding of topics such as data platforms, data engineering, data architecture, AI/ML, cloud analytics, data governance, or modern BI
• Experience with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, AWS, or comparable technologies is a great advantage
• Experience in regulated or highly regulated environments as well as in pre-sales, customer workshops, presentations, or C-level advisory is advantageous
• Practical experience with modern AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or similar solutions
• HERMES, Scrum Master, or a project management certification recognised in Switzerland is a plus
• You communicate clearly and appropriately for the audience, can convey complex technical content understandably, and present confidently to management and executive stakeholders
• You work in a structured, customer- and solution-oriented manner, recognise risks early, and find pragmatic solutions
