Your Tasks
Supporting people: At the Belforterstrasse residential home, you accompany adults with cognitive and physical impairments and an increased need for care. Many live with chronic, progressive illnesses and exhibit challenging behaviours.
Leadership duties (approx. 40%): You take on the personnel and organisational leadership of a team of about 10-15 people. Together with the management team of the site, you promote self-organisation, strengthen collaboration and support the further development of your team.
Shaping everyday life: You undertake tasks such as basic care, household management and the organisation of the spatially integrated day structure. Additionally, you are responsible for administrative tasks, including maintaining the digital client records.
Collaborating: As a valuable member of an interdisciplinary team, you advocate for the individual needs of our clients. You specifically promote their abilities, set development goals and participate in the annual needs assessment.
Your Profile
Experience: You are skilled in working with people with disabilities, ideally also with challenging behaviour. Shift work and working on weekends and public holidays are part of your responsible professional understanding.
Personality: You approach clients with empathy and respect and are adept at motivating a team and leading on an equal footing. In demanding care situations or emergencies, you remain calm, act confidently and convey security.
Education: You have completed training as a care specialist EFZ or a BA in Social Work FH / Social Pedagogy HF and bring experience in team leadership or are willing to undertake appropriate further training.
Language: You have a secure command of the German language and communicate clearly, empathetically and appropriately for the target group.
