About the job
At our wonderful kiana daycare centre in Lucerne-Littau, we are looking for a warm, committed and responsible group leader from 1 October 2026, who will independently further develop, lead and enrich the already existing group.Our premises are nature-oriented and designed with great care. They leave plenty of space open so that the children can fully immerse themselves in play and nature and develop optimally.
Your tasks:
- Professional leadership of the group
- Guidance of apprentices and interns
- Implementation of our nature pedagogical and bilingual concept
- Responsibility for the group room and daily routine
- Completion of administrative tasks (maintaining and updating daily reports, child observations, portfolio, etc.)
- Ensuring smooth communication between the group, parents and supervisors
- Conducting settling-in sessions
- Holding progress meetings with parents
What you ideally bring with you:
- a recognised professional qualification in childcare
- trainer course
- professional experience in the role of group leader
- experience working in nature
- high professional and social competence
- good English skills
- enthusiastic and passionate about your work
