The Hospital Network Appenzell Ausserrhoden with the acute hospital Herisau and the Psychiatric Centre AR in Herisau ensures extended basic medical care for the population in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care within the canton and beyond.
We are looking for
In the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy under the nursing management of Mrs Evelyne Uhrig, Mrs Elisabeth (Liz) Fürer is seeking, immediately or by arrangement, for our psychiatric private ward with a psychotherapeutic focus, for day and/or night shifts, a qualified nursing specialist HF/FH, with a workload of 80-100%.

Attractive tasks
- Patient-oriented, resource-promoting and holistic care and support of our private and semi-private patients, of different ages and with various psychiatric illnesses
- Working on a newly renovated ward, within a newly formed team
- Implementation and assurance of the new ward concept in practice
- Management of the nursing process, compliance with guidelines and instructions, and participation in the development of enhanced and professionally sound nursing quality
- Responsibility for patient-centred documentation of the nursing process in ORBIS NICE and correct service recording based on our LEP catalogue
- Co-responsibility for the care and guidance of our trainees as well as the induction of new employees
- Transparent, interdisciplinary collaboration with all professionals involved in treatment, including external contacts
- Execution of diagnostic and therapeutic measures according to medical orders
Therefore, we want you
- You are motivated to work in a very interesting, varied and demanding field of activity
- You are a qualified nursing specialist HF/FH or hold a corresponding foreign diploma
- You have good German language skills, both spoken and written
- You have professional experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting
- You have experience with private and semi-private insured client groups
- You are an independently and responsibly working nursing specialist
- You possess good communication, service and quality competencies
- You are reliable, resilient, flexible and solution-oriented and interested in shaping team development and actively contributing
- You participate in constructive interdisciplinary collaboration and high service quality
