Skills
- Completed mechanical engineering studies or construction training with technical design.
- Proficient in CAD systems, ideally Solid Edge, and PDM systems.
- Fluent in German and English, with additional languages being a plus.

About the job
Your tasks:- You independently create customer-specific 3D assemblies and derive precise 2D drawings from them
- You are responsible for creating and maintaining bills of materials as well as producing manufacturing-compliant 2D individual part drawings
- You actively contribute to the standardisation and further development of existing designs
- You maintain and manage article master data in the CAD and PDM systems used
- You process product change requests as well as service and spare parts orders
- In close cooperation with production, purchasing, project management and external suppliers, you ensure a smooth project flow
- You consistently consider applicable design guidelines, factory standards and customer-specific requirements
- You collaborate with international production sites and communicate confidently in English
- Occasional factory and customer visits within the scope of service and spare parts orders (approx. 1-2 times per quarter) complete your range of tasks
- Completed degree in mechanical engineering or training in the field of design or technical product design, possibly with further training as a technician (m/f/d)
- Sound knowledge of general mechanical engineering and strong technical understanding
- Confident handling of CAD systems, ideally Solid Edge
- Experience in manufacturing-compliant design of sheet metal and welded assemblies
- Knowledge of PDM/PLM systems, preferably CIM Database
- Understanding of integration and collaboration with ERP systems, ideally Infor LN
- Further training as a welding specialist (m/f/d) desirable
- Fluent German and English skills; additional foreign language skills are an advantage
