The Special Education School Lyss is a day school for children and adolescents with intellectual or multiple disabilities. We teach around 115 students in 18 classes (from primary to upper and orientation levels) aged between 4 and 18 years.

Tasks
You promote and support students individually and in groups regarding language competence
You assess the need for therapy, prepare it, carry it out, evaluate and continuously check the therapy goals
You create specialized reports, school reports, and other assessments
You maintain intensive exchange within the speech therapy team, with teachers, specialized therapy teachers, doctors, and the involved system
Requirements
Recognized training in speech therapy
Enjoyment of the challenges of everyday school life in the special primary school environment
Resilience and positive communication skills
High ability to work in a team and willingness for interdisciplinary collaboration
