Your Tasks
Exhaust air measurement at industrial plants: You independently carry out emission measurements of industrial plants from planning through the actual measurements to reporting.
Control and verification of measurement results: Through independently conducted controls and calibrations, you ensure the consistency of the collected measurement data. You are in direct contact with laboratories, specialist agencies and suppliers for the further development of analysis methods.
Support for the air quality measurement network: You support the operation and maintenance of the five measurement stations in the two Basels and monitor the data transfer to the air database. Maintenance rounds as a deputy in the measurement network complement your varied range of activities.
Your Profile
Experience: You have several years of professional experience in the analytical laboratory field, ideally in the area of environmental analytics, and are proficient in handling electronic data acquisition systems.
Personality: With technical flair and skill, you develop solutions to tackle various tasks independently or in a small team. You plan your work assignments with commitment and implement the measurement programmes in practice.
Education: You have professional experience in the analytical laboratory field and hold a completed training as a chemical or physics laboratory technician EFZ or a Bachelor’s degree in chemistry or engineering. A category BE driving licence is required.
Language: Good to very good German skills in spoken and written form. English skills are an advantage.
