For our costing team of the master builder region Aarau, we are looking for you as an independent and structured personality as a Modeller AVOR/Costing. Your workplace will be Aarau.

In this role, you create the basis for precise and efficient costing by determining quantities from BIM models, creating models from plans or optimising/completing existing models. You visualise construction processes and site facilities in 3D, thus bringing transparency to complex projects. You make an important contribution, especially in the areas of AVOR and construction scheduling. Your work increases efficiency, enhances schedule and cost certainty, and creates the foundation for structured claim management.

Your responsibilities

• Creation and further development of 3D models (with Tekla Structures) as a basis for costing
• Analysis, review and preparation of internal and external BIM models to ensure quality standards
• Derivation of quantity frameworks and preparation of quantity extracts for costing
• Development of model-based site layout plans and construction process simulations
• Close collaboration with costing to optimise processes, efficiency and planning reliability

Why you will succeed

• Completed training as a draughtsperson EFZ (ideally civil engineering) or degree in civil engineering / digital construction
• Several years of CAD experience (at least 3 years in Revit, Allplan, AutoCAD, etc.), ideally with interest in Tekla Structures (quickly learned with internal + external training)
• Strong spatial imagination and ability to convert construction plans and specifications into precise BIM models
• Independent, structured working style as well as pronounced team and communication skills
• Interest in construction processes, NPK specifications as well as good IT/BIM knowledge; English skills are an advantage
