To complete the Operating Room team of the Cardiocentro Ticino Institute in Lugano, we are looking for a
Instrument Nurse or Operating Room Technician (ORT) (100%)
Profile:
The Operating Room service assists patients undergoing cardiac and thoracic surgery - mainly acute cases - and interventional cardiology.
The employee working in the service is required to have a strong spirit of adaptation and flexibility in managing complex clinical situations characterized by rapid evolution, always keeping in mind the importance of placing the patient and their family at the center of all our attention. They have solid technical instrumental skills, know how to manage priorities by making timely decisions. Sensitive to interpersonal dynamics, they maintain a positive attitude even under strong stress.
Necessary requirements:
- Diploma as an instrument nurse or operating room technician or equivalent qualifications;
- Proven work experience of at least 2 years in a similar position;
- Enthusiasm, flexibility, and adaptability;
- Interprofessional relational skills;
- Cooperation skills and team spirit;
- In addition to the Italian language, knowledge of another national language and/or English will be considered a plus;
- Mastery of main computer applications (office package) is essential.
