For our team at the Ursenbach location in the Swiss Midlands, we are looking to fill the position immediately or by arrangement:
Deputy Head of Shipping 100% (m/f/d)
Your tasks:
- Receiving, storage, picking, and shipping of goods
- Maintaining inventory and assisting with stocktaking
- Operating industrial trucks
- Supporting the head of shipping in the daily organization and coordination of goods flow
- Representing the head of shipping – including personnel management and decision-making authority
- Controlling and optimizing processes
- Preparing shipping and accompanying documents
- Projects for digitalization and process optimization
Your profile:
- Training in logistics (e.g., logistics specialist EFZ / federally certified logistics specialist) or a comparable qualification
- Leadership experience or willingness to take on a leadership role
- Practical experience in logistics of a production company, preferably in glass processing (shipping or intralogistics)
- Good knowledge of ERP and warehouse management systems
- Forklift license is an advantage
- Good German language skills
