Job Description

• Ensure comprehensive care for the patient and her baby(ies) to promote the mother-child relationship.
• Maintain clinical reasoning to optimize the quality of care and patient safety during prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal periods.
• Apply hygiene rules and protocols to prevent infection.
• Have a clinical and adapted approach to the pain of the patient and/or her baby(ies).
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthetists, and pediatricians.
• Participate in the supervision and evaluation of trainees.
• Ensure compliance with current processes.
• Adhere to institutional policy.

Qualifications

• Midwife diploma.
• Diploma(s) registered or recognized by the Swiss Red Cross.
• Definitive or ongoing practice rights in the canton of Geneva.
• Minimum of two years of experience in maternity appreciated.
