Driver Category C/CE (m/f/d)

Job Description

• Delivery and collection of various goods and materials
• Carrying out regional and nationwide day trips
• Checking goods against delivery notes and transport orders
• Loading and unloading the vehicle
• Proper securing of the transported load
• Operation of tail lifts, trailers or vehicle cranes depending on deployment
• Timely and safe delivery to customers
• Checking and processing delivery and transport documents
• Acceptance of returns and exchanges
• Friendly and professional contact with customers
• Regular inspection, maintenance and cleaning of the assigned vehicle
• Compliance with applicable traffic, safety and labour regulations

We expect

• Valid driving licence category C or CE
• Valid CZV competence certificate
• Valid driver card
• Several years of professional experience as a driver is an advantage
• Experience in piece goods, building materials, industry or goods transport is an advantage
• Good knowledge of Swiss roads and traffic regulations
• Safe and responsible handling of vehicle and load
• Experience with trailers, tail lifts or vehicle cranes is an advantage
• Physical resilience and willingness to assist with loading and unloading
• Good German language skills
• French language skills for assignments in the Biel region and Seeland are an advantage
• Independent, careful and reliable working style
• Friendly and well-groomed appearance
• Strong service and customer orientation
• Flexibility regarding working hours and areas of deployment
