The Kemmental is located between the Ottenberg and the Seerücken. Kemmental, with an area of 25 km², is one of the largest municipalities in the canton of Thurgau and is situated in the district of Kreuzlingen. The municipality of Kemmental consists of the former local communities of Alterswilen, Altishausen, Dotnacht, Ellighausen, Hugelshofen, Lippoldswilen, Neuwilen, and Siegershausen, with around 2,800 residents.

Your area of responsibility
- Professional and personnel management as well as financial planning of the areas of building construction, civil engineering, works, and maintenance
- Management of civil engineering projects such as drainage systems, road construction, access facilities, etc.
- Conducting procurements and awarding planning and construction services for civil engineering and works
- Processing legal procedures and public relations (information events, participation procedures, and consultations)
- Creating decision-making bases (e.g. applications to the municipal council)
- Coordination of specialist matters with internal and external parties
- Participation in specialist commissions and project groups
- Deputy area of building construction
Your competencies
- Completion of a technical training in construction, possibly with further education in the technical and planning field (e.g. Technician TS, specialist in construction and planning, expert in construction and environment GFS)
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable function, preferably in public administration
- Assertiveness
- Good communication skills: fluency in personal and written communication with different stakeholders
- High reliability, willingness to engage, and collegiality as well as networked thinking
- Solid IT knowledge of standard and specialized applications
- Diverse and responsible task
- High degree of independence
- An exciting challenge with the opportunity for co-design
- Individual development through participation in further training
