About the job
- You are primarily available as a roaming nurse as well as to support intensive care for patients in psychiatric emergency situations.
- You mainly take late shifts (5:00 p.m. - 2:30 a.m.) in the admission emergency wards 1 and 2, admission emergency ward 60+, as well as forensics.
- After starting your shift, you will receive comprehensive information about the patient situation.
- Your expertise provides additional security at night, on weekends, and public holidays, strengthens the nursing teams, and enables flexible responses to acute crisis situations in acute psychiatry and forensics.
- You support the night shifts and the on-call doctor in emergency situations, extraordinary workloads, and difficult and complex admission situations as needed.
- Important patient-related circumstances and events are thoroughly documented by you.
- You have completed training as a nursing specialist HF/FH (SRK recognition or positive SRK PreCheck required for foreign diplomas).
- Preferably, you already have professional experience in psychiatry.
- You have completed a basic course in aggression management or are willing to complete one.
- You are flexible and resilient and accustomed to an independent, responsible way of working.
- You maintain an open, communicative approach with patients and team members.
- You are characterized by high commitment, creativity, and very good German skills (at least C1).
