Job Description
For our general medical practice in Biel/Bienne we are looking for
One or Two Medical Assistant(s) M/F
(1x100% or 2x50%-60%)
This position requires versatility as you will be active in our general medical practice and our Walk-in Clinic, which is an emergency medical practice with consultations by appointment and/or without appointment.
Your main responsibilities will be as follows:
- Ensure the reception, orientation and support of patients with professionalism and kindness.
- Manage telephone duty, appointment scheduling and message handling.
- Perform routine care such as blood draws, injections, infusions and assist doctors during specific medical procedures.
- Carry out usual diagnostic examinations: laboratory, ECG, conventional radiology, 24-hour blood pressure measurement, sleep apnoea screening, spirometry, etc.
- Ensure the administrative follow-up of patient files and various administrative tasks related to the smooth running of the practice.
- Actively participate in the quality of care and the smooth running of daily medical activities.
Qualifications
- Holder of a Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as Medical Assistant.
- Experience in a medical practice, medical centre or outpatient emergency service is an asset.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a strong sense of hospitality.
- Dynamic, flexible and versatile personality, able to adapt to a constantly evolving environment.
- Ability to manage priorities, work independently and rigorously.
- Strong team spirit and willingness to contribute to a collaborative working atmosphere.
- Good command of French, with good knowledge of German. Any other language is an advantage.
