Senior Strategic Project Manager (80 -100%)

Would you like to actively shape strategic projects in payments? Are you passionate about complex issues at the interface of banking, technology, regulation and market needs? Then become part of our Strategy and Future Business team at SIX Banking Services. We develop and manage initiatives that advance Swiss payments and support banks in implementing new requirements and business opportunities.
These are your tasks
- Lead strategic initiatives in payments and banking environment, from problem structuring through analysis to implementation.
- Develop target images, business cases, value propositions, operating models and roadmaps for new or further developed services.
- Analyse market, customer, technology and regulatory developments and derive concrete courses of action for SIX Banking Services.
- Manage cross-departmental projects with internal departments, banks, technology partners and external service providers and create alignment across different interests.
- Prepare content for senior management, steering committees and other stakeholders concisely, analytically strong and decision-oriented.
What you bring with you
- At least 6 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy or strategic transformation, ideally in the financial services or payments environment.
- Proven experience in independently leading complex strategic projects with multiple stakeholder groups and management exposure.
- Strong skills in analysis, structuring and synthesis as well as experience with executive recommendations, business cases and management-ready presentations.
- Excellent communication and moderation skills to lead workshops, prepare decisions and mobilise stakeholders without formal line responsibility.
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written.
- Knowledge in payments, digital banking, banking operations, platform models or regulatory topics is an advantage.
