At the IT services of the University of Bern, an apprenticeship as an IT Specialist EFZ with a specialization in Platform Development is to be filled as of August 1, 2026.
Tasks
During the 4-year training, you will gain comprehensive insights into computer science and acquire solid knowledge in the planning, construction, and maintenance of IT systems, in the management of networks, as well as in the operation and maintenance of IT infrastructure. You will complete the first year of training at the Vocational Training Center (Bbc) in Bern. Additionally, you will attend the vocational school gibb in Bern for 1-2 days per week.
Requirements
Secondary school or intermediate school with 10th grade, good performance in mathematics, natural sciences, as well as in German and English. You enjoy computer science. Your strengths include technical understanding, a flair for planning and structuring. Careful, independent, and reliable work poses no problems for you.
