The main tax department is responsible for taxation in the canton of Glarus and is in charge of a significant portion of the revenue for the canton and municipalities. The staff of the Administration and Development department are the first point of contact for all questions related to taxes.

We are looking for a

Commercial Clerk Taxes 40–50 %

for the Administration and Development department, starting immediately or by arrangement, based in Glarus.

Tasks

• Managing the counter and telephone as well as customer reception (first point of contact for the tax administration)
• Recording requests for deadline extensions
• Providing tax information to external official bodies
• General administrative and organisational tasks
• Substitution in mail processing and mass mailings
• Substitution in accounting for payment agreements

Requirements

• Commercial training or equivalent education
• Affinity for modern IT and communication solutions
• Systematic, structured and independent working style
• High service orientation and enjoyment of customer contact
• Fluency in oral and written expression
