Child Protection Worker

- The missions of SPAJ consist of ensuring prevention, promotion and protection of youth and supporting adults in difficulty. The service develops and finances outpatient care for children and guarantees the well-being of placed children while financially supporting extrafamilial care structures and specialised education institutions.
Within the scope of your role, you carry out social work in the field of youth protection in collaboration with families and institutions.
You conduct social investigations for civil, criminal and administrative judicial authorities, manage civil and criminal guardianship mandates, respond to consultations and handle voluntary mandates.
Holder of a diploma in social sciences or an equivalent qualification awarded by a recognised University of Applied Sciences or university, you have specific training in child protection (CAS) or are ready to undertake it while employed.
Your professional background demonstrates extensive experience in the care and support of children in difficulty and you possess good knowledge of the social and judicial network in Neuchâtel.
You know how to manage stress in a demanding context and enjoy working in a team and network.
Holder of a driving licence and having a motor vehicle, you are willing to use it for work purposes.
