About the job
The Heilpädagogische Zentrum Hagendorn is an institution for around 140 children and young people with a cognitive impairment, a physical or multiple disability. The core areas are a day school with boarding, the orientation level (career guidance) and integrative education in the municipal schools. Are you interested in a social, educational or agogical vocational training? We offer you the opportunity to complete an internship under professionally qualified supervision. This is a six-month or one-year practical work placement, in which not only the work or performance aspect but also the learning aspect is paramount.Your tasks in the residential area
- Accompanying children and young people with an intellectual disability
- Creating a cosy living atmosphere and promoting a positive community culture
- Designing diverse and enriching leisure activities
- Administrative and organisational tasks of the residential group
Your tasks in the school area
- Supporting teachers in lessons
- Taking on targeted lesson preparation tasks
- Supporting individual pupils during lessons
- Accompanying pupils at lunchtime and during the lunch break
Your profile
- Completed vocational training EFZ
- Interest and enjoyment in working with children with an intellectual and/or multiple impairment
- Flexible, proactive and resilient personality
- Ability to work in a team
