Polymechanic – CNC Manufacturing as Machine Operator
Activities
- Operation and programming of the Harmuth CNC machine with a nesting table of 2000 x 6000 mm to perform precise cuts and machining.
- Definition of manufacturing processes: Defining technical steps, selecting suitable tools and fixtures for efficient production.
- Creation, adjustment, and testing of CNC programs: Designing and modifying programs based on workshop drawings and technical specifications to meet customer and project requirements.
- Optimization of production processes: Identifying improvement potentials to reduce processing times and increase efficiency.
- Operation of additional cutting systems: Operating machines for cutting plastic semi-finished products according to plan and customer requirements.
Requirements
- Completed apprenticeship as a polymechanic EFZ or another similar technical basic education with further training/courses in CNC programming
- Several years of practical experience in a similar role
- Enjoyment of contact with people in a dynamic environment
