The Directorate for Safety, Environment and Energy is committed to safety, protection and assistance, environmental protection, sustainable energy supply, and is responsible for building permit procedures as well as the Bern Zoo. The Emergency Medical Service is responsible for accident, emergency, and patient transports in the Bern region. It also operates the cantonal medical emergency call center 144 Bern.
Activities
- Involvement in the medical training of the staff of the medical emergency call center 144 in Bern as well as medical-professional advice and training of paramedics and emergency physicians
- Auditing of emergency call conversations as well as conducting supervision missions
- Creation of medical-professional guidelines for implementation in the cantonal operations center and medical-professional support of area and section management in the further development of the cantonal operations center
Profile
- Emergency physician SNOR and FMH specialist title and LNA CEFOCA / SFG training
- Management position in a hospital (at least senior physician)
- Several years of experience in preclinical emergency medicine
- High process and analytical competence
- High technical understanding and ICT affinity
- High social competence and leadership experience
- Driver's license category B as well as professional practice permit from the canton of Bern
