Your area of responsibility

• Operation, maintenance and further development of the group-wide IT infrastructure (on-premises servers, network, clients, peripherals as well as Azure Cloud Services)
• Technical responsibility for analysing and sustainably resolving complex faults
• Ensuring system availability, performance and IT security including occasional on-call duty
• Identification of weaknesses and implementation of preventive measures to avoid future faults
• Participation in IT projects as well as independent management of sub-projects
• Evaluation and introduction of new technologies and solutions as well as automation and standardisation of operational processes
• Creation and maintenance of system documentation
• Coordination and technical alignment with internal departments, suppliers and external service providers

Your qualifications

Professional qualifications:

• Completed training in the field of computer science (EFZ, HF, FH) or equivalent
• Driving licence category B required
• Several years of professional experience in building and operating IT infrastructures
• Sound knowledge of the Windows environment (on-premises servers and clients as well as Azure Cloud with EntraID and Intune)
• Experience with virtualisation (e.g. VMware) desired
• Experience with Linux (e.g. Debian) advantageous
• Experience in the network environment (firewall, SD-WAN, switching and WLAN) advantageous. For example Fortinet, Cisco, HP Aruba or Zyxel Nebula.
• Manufacturer certifications (e.g. Microsoft Associate/Expert, CCNA/CCNP, etc.) advantageous
