WinGD is looking for a
Operative Purchasing Team Lead
Location: Winterthur
Workload: 100%
Starting Date: 01 march 2026 or to be discussed
Responsibilities:
- Functional and disciplinary leadership of the operative purchasing team in Switzerland (globally in matrix organisation)
- Ensure efficient execution of the purchase requisition-to-purchase order (PR-to-PO) process
- Monitor and improve operative purchasing KPIs (e.g. PR-to-PO lead time, delivery reliability, backlog)
- Actively support and execution of day-to-day purchasing of materials and services, purchase to stock and purchase to order
- Reporting operative purchasing
- Close collaboration and coordination with global operative purchasing team, material planning, strategic procurement, stakeholders and 4 PL
- Support RFQ, negotiate and execute spot buys within given guideline
- Drive continuous improvement and digitalization of purchasing processes (SAP S/4HANA / Fiori)
Requirements:
- Completed vocational Swiss training EFZ (Berufslehre) including further education as purchasing manager with federal diploma or equivalent
- Several years of experience in operational purchasing, material planning or related functions
- First experience in functional (line) leadership or strong motivation to take on a leadership role
- Solid understanding of PR–PO–GR–IR processes and its applications
- Structured and an analytical mindset so as solution-oriented working style
- A strong communication skills so as an excellent interpersonal and intercultural skills
- High level of commitment, self-motivated and team spirit
- Solid SAP MM / S/4HANA knowledge and in MS-Office Programms
- Fluency in spoken and written English mandatory
- Good knowledge of German, at least B2 level, further languages of advantage
