Application Manager Banking 80-100%

For the technical operation and further development of our Avaloq Core Platforms, we are looking for an experienced Technical Application Manager.

You ensure the stable, performant and secure operation of our banking platforms and actively contribute to their further development. In this role, you work in a demanding environment within the Swiss financial industry and take responsibility for technical matters related to operation, automation, security and optimisation.

As an experienced professional, you independently analyse complex issues, drive improvements and support customers as well as internal teams with your technical expertise.

• Ensuring the stable and secure operation of our Avaloq Core Platforms
• Analysing and sustainably resolving incidents and problems
• Further developing and optimising platforms, processes and operational procedures
• Implementing technical improvements as well as participating in projects and changes
• Coordinating maintenance, releases and cross-operational tasks
• Handling security topics such as hardening and vulnerability management
• Technical support and advice for customers, partners and internal teams

Your Skills

• Several years of experience in the technical operation of complex application or banking platforms
• Sound knowledge of Unix/Linux, shell scripting and Oracle
• Experience with job scheduling and middleware technologies
• Knowledge of the Avaloq environment or operation of full banking platforms is an advantage
• Analytical and structured working style as well as enthusiasm for technical challenges
• Independent appearance, team spirit and good communication skills
• Very good German and English skills
