What to expect
- Responsibility for the strategic development and operational management of the Sports Category, which also includes the Outdoor sector
- Designing a competitive and attractive assortment with a focus on growth markets
- Managing pricing and optimizing margins
- Close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to implement innovative product ideas
- Building and further developing partnerships with relevant suppliers and brands
- Leading and developing a motivated team of about 6 employees
- Identifying trends and opportunities in the sports and outdoor industry
- Responsibility for the category's sales and profitability targets
- Developing and implementing marketing and sales strategies
- Opportunity to explore new areas and drive innovative concepts
What you bring
- Successfully completed studies in business administration, marketing, or a similar field
- Several years of experience in category management, ideally in the sports and outdoor industry
- Leadership experience and enjoyment in developing and motivating a team
- Strong analytical and strategic skills
- Experience in pricing and assortment creation
- Entrepreneurial thinking and high result orientation
- Passion for sports and outdoor topics
- Negotiation skills and strong communication abilities
- High level of initiative and decisiveness
- Fluent in German and English, both spoken and written
