Your apprenticeship – your entry into the working world
What to expect with us
During your 3-year training, we offer you an exciting mix of research and private industry. With us, you work with modern analytical instruments to find out which substances are in the water, how they act, and what happens to them in the environment. Another part of your training involves supporting laboratories in the private sector. These include, for example, Bachema AG in Schlieren or Coca-Cola in Dietlikon.
This gives you exciting insights into different working environments and industries, making your daily work varied, practical, and modern.
You will work for several months in various research departments or partner companies and learn about different methods and areas of work. Additionally, in the first and second year of your apprenticeship, you will attend cantonal inter-company courses in the company’s own training laboratory to learn the basic laboratory practice.
