Your new role
You support the director as well as the chief of staff in carrying out their tasks. In particular, you process political submissions as well as other texts relevant to the directorate such as regulations, reports, or content for public relations. Administrative tasks – such as taking minutes at commission meetings, writing correspondence, or organizing events – ensure a varied and diverse range of duties. Leading projects and working groups or participating in them complete this demanding role.
This position is for you if
- You ideally have a completed bachelor's or master's degree in law or political science.
- You have a positive attitude towards the tasks of a city and the functioning of public administration.
- You are a resilient personality with a quick grasp and work in a structured, independent, and service-oriented manner.
- You enjoy and find it easy to interact with people regardless of task, function, or hierarchy.
- Your language skills are very good, you enjoy writing demanding texts, and you have a high sense of quality and responsibility.

Your department
The staff is the hub for the political affairs of the Directorate of Education and Leisure with its departments of School and Music, School Health, Children Youth Family, Sports, as well as Infrastructure Education and Leisure. In addition, the staff advises and supports the director and the departments in their tasks, especially in cross-sectional tasks such as finance, law, communication, and personnel. It also manages the secretariat for the parliamentary education commission, the school appeals commission, and the school welfare fund.
