The Office for Higher Education implements the educational policy mandates of the government and the Department of Education, Culture and Environmental Protection in the areas of secondary schools and tertiary education and research to promote an attractive education and research location in Graubünden.
We are looking for a Secretary for the secretariat team of the Office for Higher Education from 1 November 2026 or by arrangement.
- General secretarial duties, mail and telephone service
- Handling general correspondence
- Checking the formal correctness of government decisions and departmental orders of the office
- Carrying out administrative tasks and scheduling for the office management
- Supporting the finance department in accounts payable and receivable accounting
- Assisting with expert planning of final examinations at secondary schools
- Contributing to the production of the continuing education newspaper
- Administrative support for other departments of the office
- Commercial training with a Federal VET Diploma (EFZ)
- IT user skills, especially document management using CMI
- Good administrative and organisational skills
- Solid knowledge of German spelling
- Experience in administration and knowledge of the Swiss education system is an advantage
- Quick comprehension and resilience in busy times
- Willingness to work flexibly (especially during the entrance examination phase from November to April)
- Helpful and friendly manner
- Independent, precise and goal-oriented working style
