Department of Construction and Environment
The Cantonal Building Office of Appenzell Innerrhoden ensures a safe and appropriate infrastructure in the areas of road construction, hydraulic engineering, and protection against natural hazards. The workshop makes an important contribution to the maintenance of cantonal roads, waters, and facilities.
To strengthen our team, we are looking immediately or by arrangement for a committed, reliable, and practical-oriented person as an administrative employee in the workshop with an 80-100% workload.
Your tasks
In this versatile role, you will support the workshop both organisationally and administratively. Your tasks include in particular:
- Organisation, coordination, and supervision of maintenance work
- Support in the deployment planning of employees, vehicles, and equipment
- Assistance with work preparation and documentation of completed work
- Handling administrative tasks related to construction, maintenance, materials, procurement, and reporting
Your profile
We are looking for an initiative-taking, resilient, and independent person with practical experience in construction. Ideally, you bring the following:
- Training or several years of experience in the construction trade, preferably in civil or road construction
- Commercial training or good administrative experience
- Organisational skills, sense of responsibility, and a structured way of working
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Confident use of digital tools
- Enjoyment of a liaison role between office, workshop, and construction site
- Team spirit and a service-oriented attitude
